We were approached by Sharps Brewery to provide some still life photography samples of the proposed new bottle shape and label for their flagship beer Doom Bar. This was ahead of a focus group to establish whether the new labelling and bottle shape would be acceptable.
There were 2 bottles to photograph, one light in colour and one dark. The photos were to be as true to the glass colour as possible in order for bottles’ contents to look realistic. Beer bottle photography can sometimes prove tricky when trying to capture the actual colour of the beer, especially in darker glass.
A few weeks later Sharps Brewery opted for the lighter coloured glass and it was all go!
